Finance & Administration Manager

Job Role
The Finance & Administration Manager will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s administrative and financial services and departments, supporting and promoting profitable goals and objectives.
What You’ll Do

In collaboration with other executive staff, and skilled and trusted departmental employees, develops, implements, operates, maintains, and controls the essential operating systems, information, and financial business of the company.

Preparation of financial planning and analysis for management and Board reporting.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of accounting and financial operations with a focus on continuous improvement; Including A/P, A/R, tax/compliance, cash and working capital management, and the monthly GL close and reporting cycle.

Ensure all invoices are received, reviewed, reconciled, and approved prior to timely payment.

Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.

Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.

Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.

Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.

Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.

Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

Maintains knowledge of developments and trends in finance and administration including technological advances.

Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
What You Need
Education and Experience

Excellent management and supervisory skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Thorough understanding of and personal involvement with systems and methodologies of finance and administration.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in working with accounting software (QuickBooks).

Experience in payroll software is desired.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

5 years progressive corporate accounting experience; 4 years if licensed CPA; 3 years if licensed CPA currently or formerly in public practice.

Related experience with a SaaS company preferred.
Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
